Retro Blog - Edition Two

There was a hospital across the street in back of me as I shot this image.

I just loved the look of this old door. Someone lives here!

Just up the street from here was a nice restaurant frequented by Americans and local professionals.

I love the vintage look of this old sign. Reminds me of my dad. He was a
commercial artist and hand painted lettering on buildings for years
before vinyl was even dreamed of for lettering.

I took these last year and never got around to posting them. These images were taken in Mexico and Waco, TX. Jesse (my husband) and I went to Little Red Schoolhouse and this dancer was one of our models. Isn't she beautiful? Early Saturday morning I woke before Jesse and went down to the bridge to shoot. I just knew the light was going to be killer and I wasn't disappointed. I used Totally Rad actions on these in post. I really love using Boutwell's actions. To me, they are the best things ever. I will post more on the topic of photographic workflow and post processing sometime soon. For now, enjoy!

Retro Blog - Edition One

I wanted to share these last December and never got around to it. Meet the very sweet Mr. A. He is a senior this year and he has the most kind parents I've met. It was an honor to do portraits for his yearbook. Here's to your future success. :o)

Bluebonnet Mini Sessions

I did say that I would be better. What could be better that two posts in one day? :o) First, I would like to give some information about my upcoming Bluebonnet Mini-Session. On April 19th, a week from Easter, I am doing bluebonnet sessions. A location has not been determined yet, but spots are filling up. Sooo, if you would like a professional portrait done in the beautiful Texas bluebonnets give me a call and schedule your session. I promise to blog my favorites from that day, as I am turning over a new leaf and becoming a better blogger!
Session fee is $150, you will receive all of your images, completely retouched, on a CD with permission to print. This is a mini session so there will not be time for clothing changes, however there will be plenty of time for you to receive approximately 10-15 images in different poses.
